Please note, these bagels are sometimes unexpectedly out of stock. For now we have made these unavailable because we are not sure when the next batch is arriving. This is sometimes weekly, but occasionally there are 1-2 week delays for unexplained reasons from the bakery. As of 1/11/10 Controlled Carb let me know it will be till at least another two weeks before we get our next order. As of 1/24/10 Controlled Carb has been unreachable by phone for over two weeks. If you have heard from them or maybe heard they closed down just shoot me a note to let me know.
One customer let me know they did get through to Controlled Carb and it was mentioned that they are most likely shutting down their low carb line. For now we don't have any bagels and don't expect any. If they come bag in stock we will let the email list know.
One great alternative is the
ThinSlim Bagels. They are lower in carbs, but not as low in carbs and hence dry/airy as the Zero Net Carb Bagels.
In addition the ThinSlim Bagels are 3g of net carbs instead of Controlled Carb bagels which are 6g.
