For those customers who want the lowest calories, we offer the 40 calorie versions which are made with a little less oil than the 60 calorie versions. As a result though, these are a little more dry. As you can see by the flavor choices, the 40 calorie versions are the most popular. Remember this is 40 caloies per 1/2 bagel, so they are 80 calories for the whole bagel.

Any bagels left over from the prior batch(Sesame) are currently on sale until we run out of them. These have just been in the freezer a little longer so they are tougher. These are a great alternative for you if you just want to sample the product or would like a lower price tag. Remember they fresher product will be softer.

In our batch before this most recent one, the baker had to use extra yeast due to the extreme cold temperatures where these are baked. As a result, the consistency of the bagel is more chewy than normal and the bagels have a slightly sourdough taste. Since some people didn't like these, we have put all of these on super sale

Although the bagels are highly perishable, the baker is now using a new preservative that significantly increases the shelf life. We recommend freezing all Healthwise Bakery products upon receipt.

Just take what you need from the freezer, thaw on the counter, in the fridge, or in the microwave (our method), and then toast. Don't overdo it with the toasting as this will dry it out.
