Order Processing ProcessWondering what the heck happens after you hit that big 'ol SUBMIT button on the check out page? Well you have come to the right place. (We will be adding much more here soon.)
Immediate As soon as you hit SUBMIT and the order completes successfully you and we will receive emails. Your email will be an order confirmation email that includes the order info and invoice number. Our email notifies us that an order was received. If we are in the process of packing orders we will add your order to the orders packed that day. Otherwise, your order will sit with a status of 'Pending' until the next time we are packing orders (usually a couple hours or the next day). Packing Day On the day your order is set to be packed one of two things will happen. Either a) the box will be packed and you will get an email notifying you (skip to the Order Shipped section if this is you) b) your order will have something funky with it that causes a delay such as an out of stock item, frozen products on a non-frozen shipping day, etc. If this is the case you will receive an email stating the Status change with a not about why. Status: Processing or Waiting on Product If we have an out of stock item that is coming in very soon we will change the order status to Waiting on Product and send you an email notifying you. Normally the email will ask if you would like to wait, switch flavors, or take the item off the invoice. If the delay is related to something else, the status will be changed to Processing and you will receive an email notifying you why. Order Shipped Once your order has been packed you will receive an email stating it has been shipped which will include tracking information. Your order status will have been changed to Update. At this point your order hasn't actually left our store. It is just that the box has been packed and a tracking number has been assigned. If you get the order late at night, the package won't leave till the next morning when our pick up arrives. If you receive the order in the middle of the day it usually means we just packed the box and will be dropping it off at Fedex/USPS that day. During Shipping During shipping the order will probably still have a status of Update. If you chose Fedex during checkout you will be able to use the tracking information provided to track your package. If you chose USPS during checkout, the tracking information provided most likely won't be of much assistance because it is more of a Delivery Confirmation number. USPS does not have the sophisticated tracking system that Fedex has. Shipping time for Fedex varies based off of the shipping map found on the Shipping page. Shipping time for USPS is normally 2-3 days whether shipped down the street or across the country. Upon Receipt Eat and enjoy. Status: Shipped? "So when does the status of my package actually change to Shipped?" - Once we finalize the payments for the order. |
