Chatila's Bakery Sugar Free Mini Cookies

I read other reviews before purchasing, but as the saying goes- to each, their own! I don't know what I really expected, given that the things that make desserts delicious are all but absent in these cookies, but nevertheless, I was hopeful. I purchased chocolate chip, pumpkin and vanilla chocolate chip. They all have a sandy, dryness that yields a thirst that can only be quenched with 12 ounces of liquid or more- immediately. There is only a hint of the flavor the cookies are named for and the aftertaste in powerful and chemical-tasting. I will not buy these again and would not recommend them. I'm giving them one star, but that is a stretch.
